Default TWM Performance STI Shift Knob Installed

I finally got an opportunity to install the TWM Performance STI Shift Knob and I really like it. The engineering and craftsmanship exceeded all my expectations and experiences with other shift knobs.

I absolutely love the size and the weight. It fits in my hand so much better than the stock shift knob. I do have big hands being a guy who is over 6' tall and almost 200 pounds. It doesn't interfere with shifting and even makes shifting feel a little more effortless, especially with the Kartboy STI Short Shifter and bushings installed.

I knew what I was getting into when I ordered a shift knob made out of metal, but if I had to complain about something its that the shift knob can become hot when my car sits outside for a few hours in the 100 degree days we experience here in Southern California. Still, the heat dissipates rather quickly once the temperature around it changes, either with the windows down and air circulating in the car or with the AC on.

Watch for the install video soon!
